Roxann Weger- Myofascial Release Therapy

Roxann Weger- Myofascial Release Therapy Specializing in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR)- integrative, effective treatment for pain relief, musculoskeletal conditions, increased mobility.

MFR uses gentle sustained pressure, stretching and/or compression to releases restrictions within the fascial system- a three-dimensional web of tough connective tissue that connects and surrounds every muscle, organ, cell and system in the body. Releasing fascial restrictions throughout the body decreases the excessive pressure that acts as a “straight jacket” in our body, allowing our bodies to let go of tensions and re-balance, so as to decrease pain and increase function; improve blood flow, nutrition and overall health down to the cellular level. Although MFR addresses the symptoms at hand, it is designed to discover and rectify the restrictions that are often the root of the problem! The importance of scar work for the body after surgery, chemo or radiation is invaluable. It doesn't matter how small or large. From one month to 30 years old we need scar work.

Today roughly one-third of women are giving birth by c-section. Unfortunately most of these women don’t realize that once their incision has healed completely, problems can still occur as a result of the scar tissue. No instructions are being given to women for how to heal and care for their c-secti...

Incredible fascia.

Flexibility might be the ability of a joint to bend through its full range of motion, but in actuality, it’s the reflection of your nervous system and not simply the more you can stretch, and stretch and stretch some more.

Topic: The Subconcious BODY

Subconscious material does not reside exclusively in the brain. It also resides in the body. In fact, science now declares consciousness resides in every cell. Not just nerve cells, but also bone cells, muscle cells, organ cells, collagen, etc.

Within the hardened tissues, fluids and cells of the body resides a person's subconscious consisting of suppressed energy from overwhelming past experiences, sensations, and emotions. Suppressed energy from past experiences held within the body at the subconscious level is what I refer to as BODY MEMORY.

So many of us try to create change in our life and body relying primarily on our conscious mind - what we are AWARE of. But what if we are more UNAWARE than aware? What if the majority of the information that dictates our health, behavior, reactions, and feelings resides in our subconscious? Let me put it this way. Whoever owns the majority of stock in a company,, controls the company. The key to making successful change in one's body and life is getting at least 51% conscious and aware.

The Body Memory Recall (BMR) approach brings enlightened, loving touch to the body's subconscious. A BMR practitioners hands are like beacons that shine a light into the darkness of the body's subconscious inviting a person to feel and bring their awareness into their body and become more AWARE. Choosing to be aware is the first step towards acceptance and acceptance is the number one condition that allows the past hursts, traumas, emotions, etc. to leave the confines of body's subconscious and transmit out of the body. Body memory transformation is then the process of bringing consciousness to the suppressed material in the body and letting it go.

Letting go is only half complete if done only in the mind. The body needs to let go too. In this way, BMR is a powerful tool to aid a person in their desire to become clear of the past in both mind and body while also becoming increasingly more conscious and aware. Once a person gains enough consciousness, 51% or more, they start gaining traction creating true peace and joy in their life. Of course, why stop at 51%.
