I was talking with some friends yesterday, they shared that Corydon folks can be stuck in old ways. But as someone who didn’t grow up here, I told them I’m witnessing in real time how this town is progressing in so many wonderful ways, while still holding onto genuine, deeply rooted American values.

Leadership Harrison County has been such a meaningful experience for me. It’s shown me that there are people here who truly care about making a difference in their community—setting beliefs, opinions, and personal choices aside to focus on what really matters: how we show up for one another in real life.

This project is one of many that enriches our county by giving a voice to those who may not otherwise be heard.

Today is the final day to donate. Whether it’s $2 or $200, it’s together that we make a real difference in our community.

We’re in the final push this weekend to raise the last $1,550 needed to fully fund our project!

This additional funding will allow us to establish an endowment through the Harrison County Community Foundation, ensuring both long-term upkeep and future expansion of the 5 picture communication boards installed in our local parks — helping us better serve our community for years to come.

Yesterday was a gift.

As we descend into the end of the year, I've found myself needing to conserve energy. After a very active summer of creating and sharing, yesterday was a gift of receiving.

A huge thank you to Isaac Gleitz for facilitating connection, collaboration, and community. I am THRILLED seeing our Corydon Drum Circle Community grow!

Thank you to Harmony & Health / LaDonna Frantz ND, RPh for offering us their space to use.

Find us there on the 2nd of Saturday every month at 4pm.

Thank you to my friend Hannah Joy Benko-Storm Sunflower Healing & Doula Services for inspiring and educating me everytime we meet.

Extra special thank you to my friends at Bundle Sticks Farm and Education Center for inviting me to their fall festivities. Fire, potluck, and Variety Show was a gift of laughter, support, and soul warming entertainment.

It was coming back to the roots of humanity- community.

What a gift it is to receive love, support, and connection from my community.
