Yesterday was a gift.

As we descend into the end of the year, I've found myself needing to conserve energy. After a very active summer of creating and sharing, yesterday was a gift of receiving.

A huge thank you to Isaac Gleitz for facilitating connection, collaboration, and community. I am THRILLED seeing our Corydon Drum Circle Community grow!

Extra special thank you to my friends at Bundle Sticks Farm and Education Center for inviting me to their fall festivities. Fire, potluck, and Variety Show was a gift of laughter, support, and soul warming entertainment.

It was coming back to the roots of humanity- community.

I love the “bridge the gap" feeling. It gives me just a little more faith in humanity. It comeswhen students find me, saying their doctors recommend them to try yoga for their lower back pain. Often I hear they just want to do surgery or push medication, and while I APPRECIATE those things are sometimes necessary, even life saving, I believe we need a balance of both.

Divisiveness destroys humanity. 
I'm in the business of creating more humanity.

I can see how it could feel dismissive to your pain to hear that something as simple as yoga could be the answer…but it isn't simple.

It isn't simple,
It's giving you the power in choice, to take command of your own healing.

It isn't simple,
it's showing up consistently, creating structure in your life.

It isn't simple,
It's leaving your ego at the door to slow down and listen, really listen, to your body and master the absolute basics. 

But simply showing up, is sometimes good enough.

I'll see you on the mat. 💜
