Dear Community Partners and Friends,

Many of us were touched by Kelli in different ways and at different times—but what remains true is that she helped so many of us, and many of the people we serve today.
With her untimely passing, her sober living home was left without the oversight and support they needed. In response, our team at Where We Began stepped in through our consulting services to help stabilize operations and continue the heart behind what she created.
We are currently in the process of forming a nonprofit and establishing a board, with the goal of preserving and growing this work—so we can continue helping as many individuals as possible find stability and recovery. (More on this as it develops.)

At this time, we have:

4 beds available at our partner house for men’s sober living ($120.00 first week rent due at upon move-in)

5 beds available at the women’s sober living home($150.00 first week rent due at upon move-in)

These homes are paired with our trauma-informed Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), allowing individuals to access safe housing while actively participating in treatment.

We’re excited to share an update from Where We Began, LLC dba Corydon IOP & Counseling. Through newly established partnerships, we now have access to both men’s and women’s sober living options in the New Albany area to further support individuals as they complete Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP).

These partnerships allow us to offer what recovery truly needs—safe, stable housing paired with trauma‑informed, evidence‑based treatment. By combining structured IOP services with sober living environments, we’re helping individuals build consistency, accountability, and a stronger foundation for long‑term recovery.

We’re excited to share that Corydon IOP & Counseling has expanded our ability to serve the community through new partnerships offering both male and female sober living options. As a trauma-informed, substance use treatment provider, we recognize the importance of whole-person care—and now, we can offer even more comprehensive support to help individuals rebuild their lives.
