Attention Prairie Trails Wellness Center Patrons and Community Members:
We are pleased to announce recent installation of a new lighting system. The lights in the three main rooms can be left on and will automatically shut off after 10 minutes, if there is no activity in that room.
The lights will automatically come on when you enter a room, unless the switch has been turned off. If you prefer the lights off, you can turn them off at the switch. The switch will need to be on for the lights to automatically come on. There is also a dimmer on the side of the switch, if you prefer less brightness.
The lighting system was professionally installed by Kelling Electric, Jordan Kelling and his crew. He can be called at 515-729-3807 if you would like to reach him.
In addition to the new lighting, the Center has been professionally painted by Bobby Hedrick. You will note he does great work. He can be called at 641-895-5641, if you would like to contact him.
The Prairie Trails Wellness Center Board would like to thank our corporate sponsors and members, the Winslow Family Foundation, the Wayne Community Foundation and Redeemed for the grants received, and all other donations made by members of the community. Without all of you, we would not be fortunate to have this facility for Prairie Trails Wellness Center.
A special thanks is extended to Cheri Nessen and her Committee for pursuing establishment of our non-profit fitness center in 2005, and eventual opening in 2006. If it had not been for Cheri’s time, devotion, and donations, the Center would not be here today.
Again, thank you to everyone who has been instrumental in the operation and success of the Prairie Trails Wellness Center. We look forward to being a continued part of the health and wellness of our community.
