A functional oral assessment: evaluating the full body; observing if the brain + mouth + body are connecting appropriately during feeding. More specifically it means observing body posture, tone, oral habits, resting posture, saliva management, lingual range of motion, feeding, and paying attention to other signs + symptoms.

•Ola was inspired by my own personal breastfeeding journey with both my little ones.
•Each letter in Ola represents my babies first letter of their name. O: Oli 👦🏼 L: Luna 🐶 A: Ari 👶🏻
•Ola in Spanish means “waves” and if you know me, you know the ocean has a special place in my heart.
•Spanish was my first language, I was born in Peru.
•Ola also sounds like “hola” which is “hi” in Spanish. I thought this was fun and welcoming!
