With over 25 years of experience in podiatry practice, Jeffrey Kleis, DPM, is dedicated to providing Southern California, with excellent foot care. Dr. Kleis is an expert foot and ankle surgeon and utilizes advanced technology to treat foot problems with less invasive options whenever possible. Dr. Kleis has been a national speaker on laser treatment for nail fungus and has trained doctors worldwide on how to use laser technology in podiatry. He has spoken at medical conferences across the United States and Canada on laser treatment of nail fungus and was featured in a training video for European doctors. His private practice, Jeffrey Kleis, DPM, Inc., is the only location in California to offer two lasers for fungal nail treatment, the Cutera GenesisPlus™ and Q-Clear™ laser. He has also served as a medical consultant for Cutera Lasers as well is being involved in the FDA approval and clinical testing of the GenesisPlus for treatment of nail fungus. He has personally performed laser fungal nail treatment for thousands of people of all ages. After graduating from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Kleis completed his residency in foot surgery at Community Hospital Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He’s board-certified in foot surgery, reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery and a diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Kleis has extensive experience treating patients of all ages. His areas of expertise include treatment of nail fungus, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, bunions, and Achilles tendon injuries.
