The Cochrane study was released in January 2023. 15 separate studies with a total sample size of almost 300K confirm the masks were useless in combating the pandemic. Some people will continue wearing face masks simply because they can’t stand the idea that 1) they were lied to or 2) they were wrong. Had folks done their research (as I did) in 2020, they would have realized absolutely zero data existed attesting to the efficacy of face masks in preventing communal spread of a virus. Go back 3 1/2 years and read my page; I’ve been right all along.

With another winter storm coming into the area, AmericanCPR911 wants to remind travelers to use extreme caution. If you do not have to travel, then please don’t. This storm is expected to bring high winds and heavy rain fall. These conditions could result in additional flooding and landslides. The roadway will be extremely wet and possibly flooded. It only takes one-tenth of an inch of water to hydroplane. If you have to travel remember to follow these safety tips:

- Check the weather before traveling.
- Give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination.
- Inspect your vehicle tires and windshield wipers ensuring they are in good working order.
- Slow down and follow traffic at a safe distance.
- Limit distractions inside the vehicle, allowing you to focus on driving safe.
- If you encounter traffic be patient. Don’t add to the congestion by driving reckless.
- If you observe a patrol vehicle with its emergency lights slowing traffic down, do not pass or follow behind too close.

If we all do our part and follow these safety tips and other safe driving habits, we can keep the roadways safe and save lives....
