South Lane Children's Dental

We are a community supported non-profit clinic that provides dental services to non-insured or under Hours of operation are from 8:00AM to 2:00PM.

We are a community supported non-profit clinic that provides dental services to non-insured or under served children enrolled at South Lane, Creswell, and North Douglas school districts. We offer emergency, comprehensive, and preventative care at no charge to qualifying students. The clinic operates during the regular school year based on the availability of our volunteer dentists and their staff. We are open at least one day a week typically on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday according to school’s calendar. The South Lane Children’s Dental Clinic is made up of licensed community dentists and volunteer staff providing free dental care to qualifying children in South Lane County. Our clinic is located at the Lane Community College Cottage Grove Campus. Support for the clinic is provided by South Lane Children Dental Care Coalition. The coalition includes over a dozen key community partner organizations and a supporting group of five Cottage Grove dentists, school district employees, and community volunteers that have come together to support the mission of improving dental health in South Lane County.

South Lane Children's Dental Clinic would like to thank all it's loyal volunteers, auxiliary staff, the school districts and the South Lane School Board, who have supported and remained loyal to the vision of this program.
This year the South Lane Children's Dental Clinic staff and volunteers have provided and donated a total of $178,832.00 in dental services to the children of South Lane, Creswell and North Douglas School Districts.

Thank you to Dr. Park McClung of Birch Avenue Dental who donated his services today to South Lane Children's Dental. Dr. Park saw 12 students from South Lane, Creswell and North Douglas School Districts and donated $4,144.00 in free dental care. Thank you again to all our loyal volunteers.

A special thank you to Dr. Ivan Paskalev of College Hill Dental, who wrapped up his 5th year volunteering with South Lane Children's Dental Clinic. Dr. Paskalev is always willing to go above and beyond to get the work done. We appreciate his efforts greatly.
Today Dr. Paskalev saw 16 patients and donated $6,964.00 worth of free dental care to children of South Lane, North Douglas and Creswell School Districts.

Thank you to Dr. Jonathan Backer, who volunteered at South Lane Children's Dental Clinic today. Dr. Backer has been a loyal volunteer to this community for over 11 years. We are grateful and appreciative of all of his work.
Today Dr. Backer treated children from Creswell, North Douglas and South Lane Districts and provided $3,000.00 in donated dental treatment.

Today marks the retirement for Dr. Lonn Robertson from South Lane Children's Dental Clinic.
Dr. Lonn has given in many ways to our children, but most freely I will remember how he gave of his heart. Each child that sat in the dental chair had someone for even 10 minutes that was interested in their school day, their pets at home, their interests and hobbies, he made a true effort to know each child he saw. To say Dr. Robertson truly cares about these kids is an understatement. There is no doubt during Dr. Robertson's 8 years volunteering with South Lane Children's Dental Clinic he changed lives.
We will greatly miss his warm smile and genuine heart, but wish him many happy years of retirement.
