A message from a group of SLDA Studio Moms

Our very own Miss Kenady is getting married… to our studio photographer, Mr. Hunter! 💍

Both of them have helped create such a special space at SLDA for our kids - a place that is positive, encouraging, creative, and full of heart. Many of our dancers have grown up seeing them at the studio, and we know how much they care about this community.

Because it wouldn’t be possible to invite every dancer and family to their wedding, we wanted to create a moment where our studio family (past or present) can celebrate with them.

The studio moms are hosting a small well-wishes shower ”From first click to First dance" 📸 💃where dancers and families can stop by, say hello, and share their excitement for the happy couple before their big day in June.

We’ll have:
• Light snacks
• A few fun activities for the dancers
• A chance to leave notes or well wishes for the couple

It’s simply a sweet way for the kids to feel part of this joyful moment for two people who have given so much to our studio.

We hope you’ll stop by and help us celebrate Miss Kenady and Mr. Hunter as they begin this new chapter together! 💛

Thank you to my incredible parents at SLDA!

Whether you cover for me when I’m out, help me deliver and pick up and size costumes, or just eliciting ear/helpful idea… Thank you so much!

2026 is a big year for me and you have made it so much smoother with your loving hearts

Friday 3/13 and Saturday 3/14 Miss Mandy will be out of the office and celebrating her daughter's wedding.

She will not be taking calls, responding to emails, or reading texts. Thank you ahead of time for waiting for responses until she is back to work!

“Feed the birds… tuppence a bag.”

This number isn’t about tricks or sparkle.
It’s about heart, connection, and the quiet moments that stay with you long after the curtain closes.

Our advanced contemporary dancers are telling a story that reminds us to notice the small acts of kindness that matter most.

Thank you Bittle Brew Coffee Co. for your generous support this weekend. Keeping us caffeinated as we headed to a dance convention this weekend was such an important job and you did it beautifully.

SLDA loves to support our local business owners!

and just a little bit proud of it.

Our Ballet 2 dancers are bringing grace, charm, and a touch of Mary Poppins magic to the stage.

SLDA families - a reminder that missed classes means missed show choreography. If a dancer misses show choreography, one of the following will happen:

1. The teacher can decide if it's easy enough for your dancer to catch on in class (we won't go back out of respect for other dancers)
2. Your dancer may be swept off stage and brought back on when it work with the vision of the choreography (it may not work to be brought back on)
3. Dancers can pay for a private lesson to get caught up (this is based on teacher availability).

Dance is not only an individual activity, but a team one as well! Being in class in super important!
