There's this rumor going around that Bragg now uses Apeel coated apples.

This is how they answered a comment:

Hello -

Never- it is true that Katy Perry is also invested in this company. However, we do not use the apples that are coated with Apeel. The apples that go into juicing, concentrates and apple cider vinegar do not need to have an extended life. They are being taken straight from the farm to process. Bragg is committed to using apples that are raw, organic, and straight from the farm – that’s what helps create “the Mother” that we all know and love.
