🌟 Celebrating National Physical Therapy Month! 🌟

October is National Physical Therapy Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible work of our Physical Therapists (PTs) and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) who serve patients through Baxter Home Health Services.

Our PTs and PTAs play an essential role in helping patients regain strength, improve mobility, and restore independence—all within the comfort of their own homes. Their expertise, compassion, and dedication make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve every single day.

In the home health setting, our therapy team goes above and beyond. They not only address physical needs but also empower patients to achieve their personal goals—whether that’s walking safely again, reducing pain, or improving balance and confidence. Their commitment to patient-centered care truly embodies the heart of our mission.

We are proud to recognize our outstanding Physical Therapy team for their hard work, professionalism, and kindness. Your impact extends far beyond exercises and treatment plans—you bring hope, healing, and encouragement to every patient you visit.

After 33 years of dedicated service, we are honored to announce the retirement of Sheila Wilson, who has been an invaluable member of Baxter Health since 1992.

Throughout her remarkable career, Sheila has exemplified the very best of what it means to work in healthcare. She has consistently demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment in her various roles over the years. Her kindness has touched countless lives, and her dedication has earned her the respect and admiration of everyone who has had the pleasure of working alongside her.

Sheila has made many lasting friendships during her time here, and her presence will be deeply missed by both staff and patients alike. While we are sad to see her go, we are incredibly grateful for the impact she has made over the past three decades and wish her all the best as she begins this new and well-deserved chapter of her life.

Today, we recognize Janie Pugsley, Director and Jonetta Roberts, Nurse Manager in Celebration of Boss’s Day!!!

We want to take a moment to express our deep appreciation for these two incredible women. Their leadership, compassion, and dedication to both staff and patients truly set the tone for everything we do. As our Director and Nurse Manger, they lead not only with skill and knowledge, but with heart! Their example shows in the way our team works together and the care we provide to our patients each day.

Janie and Jonetta both go above and beyond to support each of us, making sure we have what we need to succeed, grow, and feel valued. Their commitment to excellence in home health care inspires us to give our best to every patient, every time.

Thank you both for the long hours, the encouragement, and the example you set of what true leadership looks like. We’re grateful to be part of your team and proud of the difference we make together.

We had the best time showering Rachel, RN one of our weeeknd option nurses last week in the office. Her little guy is due very soon and we couldn’t be more excited for Rachel and her family!!!
