Some of our residents enjoyed a special Valentine’s Day lunch with their loved ones here at Sweden Valley Manor. The meal was lovingly prepared by our amazing kitchen staff, who always put extra heart into everything they do. 💕👩‍🍳✨

❤️🍽️ A Valentine’s Day Date Lunch at Sweden Valley Manor 🍽️❤️

We are fortunate to have several married couples who reside together here at Sweden Valley Manor, and a few of them enjoyed a very special Valentine’s Day date lunch this year. 💕✨

Each couple was treated to a delicious lunch and a beautiful floral arrangement lovingly created by our very own staff member, Julie Allenbaugh. 🌹💐

It was a heartwarming afternoon filled with love, smiles, and sweet moments shared between partners who continue to celebrate life side by side. ❤️

💇‍♀️✨ Beauty Shop Day at Sweden Valley Manor! ✨💇‍♀️

We had the sweetest moment during our Beauty Shop Day here at Sweden Valley Manor! One of our residents walked out of the beauty shop looking absolutely stunning — so much so that even our maintenance man, Juan, couldn’t help but stop and compliment how lovely she looked! 💜😊

It’s amazing how a fresh hairstyle, a little pampering, and a lot of love can make someone’s whole day shine. Moments like this remind us why we enjoy what we do! 💕✨

🧸❤️ A Heartfelt Valentine’s Surprise from the Potter County Education Council! ❤️🧸

We were overwhelmed with joy thanks to the amazing students in the Potter County Education Council’s Youth Leadership Program! This year’s class of 27 students chose SV Manor as their community project — and they truly made Valentine’s Day special for our residents.

Each resident received beautiful handmade Valentine’s Day cards along with soft, cuddly teddy bears, thoughtfully wrapped with tissue paper and ribbon. 💌🧸✨

Here’s a bit more about this inspiring group:
• The Youth Leadership Program includes 10th–12th graders
• Students come from six school districts: Austin, Coudersport, Galeton, Northern Potter, Oswayo Valley, and Port Allegany
• Each student made at least three handmade cards, with many choosing to create even more
• This project was part of their PCYL January session, focusing on volunteerism and community involvement

Our residents absolutely LOVED their cards and teddy bears — the smiles were priceless. ❤️

A very special thank‑you to Michele Moore and her team for organizing this beautiful act of kindness. Your generosity brought so much joy to our SV Manor family! 💗🌟

💌 A Special Valentine’s Surprise at Sweden Valley Manor! 💌

We received the sweetest blessing this Valentine’s season! Kendelle Reed from Addison, NY — who was featured in Women’s Day magazine in January for her incredible acts of kindness — reached out to us personally to ask if she could make Valentines for our residents.

Our residents loved reading her story in the magazine, and their smiles were priceless as they opened the beautiful Valentines she created just for them. ❤️✨

Thank you so much, Kendelle, for sharing your kindness with us. Your thoughtful gesture brought joy, love, and connection to our home in the most meaningful way. 💕

Our winners—the Outpatient Therapy Department—took home first place in the hall decorating contest and celebrated with a well-earned taco party! 🌮🎉 All of the halls looked beautiful, and a huge thank you to our amazing staff for participating. Congrats to Lori, Cody, Trisha, and Alyvia, and to the many residents who helped make the decorations so special!
