We are deeply honored to be recognized by the Chamber of Commerce for 25 years of business. Therapy Place, Inc. was founded in 2000 by Deb Smith around her kitchen table; an intentional beginning rooted in connection, care, and community.
Last night, we accepted this award surrounded by community members, sharing a meal together. There is something beautifully ironic about that setting. The dinner table has always been a place of meaning; where we catch up, create memories, and slow down long enough to truly be present. At its core, it represents intentional time together, warmth, and connection.
As we reflect on the past 25 years, our mission remains the same and continues to grow stronger: to provide the highest quality mental health care in the Southwest Iowa and Metropolitan area. We are grateful for the trust, support, strong providers, and relationships that have made this journey possible. We look forward to what’s still to come.
