Please Help to Protect Access to Affordable Healthcare

Community Health Centers serve 34 million people nationwide, including 250,000 Iowans, and over 7,000 right here in our community. Community Health Centers provide critical access to affordable healthcare in rural areas and other communities where access is limited. But the 340B Rebate Pilot Program could strip away critical funding and patient access to affordable prescriptions unless Congress acts.

Brian had been living with severe tooth pain for weeks. When our team reached his homeless camp, he asked for help. We quickly arranged an emergency dental exam—and secured a ride to get him there.

His tooth was dangerously infected, and that short ride became a lifeline, connecting him to care he urgently needed. For people experiencing homelessness, access to dental treatment can mean the difference between relief and a medical emergency.

A Special shout-out with thanks to Variety-the Children's Charity of Iowa!

All Care has received a grant from Variety - the Children's Charity of Iowa that has helped to fund the purchase of our new dental sterilization equipment. The new sterilizer helps All Care welcome more children into care, and its improved efficiency strengthens the safety and experience of every patient who walks through our doors.

Variety - the Children's Charity is dedicated to improving the lives of children who are at-risk, underprivileged, critically ill, or living with special needs throughout Iowa. Funding is provided to programs and initiatives that directly impact the well-being of children throughout Iowa. Our History

All Care Health Center began in 1997 as a clinic located at Place 35 in the west end of Council Bluffs. In 1998, as the need for services grew, the clinic was relocated to the Omni Center as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Since then a Dental clinic, X-ray services, a handicapped-accessible van and translation services, and certified application counselors have been added to eliminate barriers to health care for the entire community. All Care Health Center went by the name Council Bluffs Community Health Center from 1998 until 2012. In January 2019, All Care Health Center expanded to the Florence M. Lakin campus and offers medical, dental, and social services.
