Diabetes impacts more than just blood sugarโ€”it affects a personโ€™s overall well-being and mental health. World Diabetes Day is a great time to reach out to your loved ones who have either Type 1 Diabetes or Type 2 Diabetes and let them know you are here to help or listen if they need it.

Did you know that today is World Kindness day? Our community is amazing and the people in it are always quick to help one another in any way they can. Showing kindness can be anything from volunteering, having a reach out program, and spreading peace to even the simplest of things like complimenting someone, holding the door and just being a good neighbor or friend. Our community is small but we have so many opportunities to make a positive impact, how are you spending World Kindness day? ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

Your time is precious, donโ€™t waste time on type 2 diabetes if you can prevent it!
If you have prediabetes, or if you scored a 5 or higher on the below prediabetes risk test, we highly recommend that you call Nurse Susan and see if ACHCโ€™s no-cost Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Course is the right fit for you! The DPP is a proven way to reverse prediabetes and prevent or delay type 2 diabetes by losing weight naturally and learning new lifestyle changes.
If you are interested in joining classes starting after the 1st of the year, you just need to call 208-253-4242 and ask to speak to Nurse Susan to see if you qualify!
