When I started my career, I was deep in the world of health and wellness, teaching movement, studying the body-mind-spirit connection, and practicing as a Reiki Master Teacher.

Back then, I thought healing and business lived in two separate worlds.
One was intuitive, feminine, and fluid.
The other structured, strategic, and decidedly "masculine".

It took years of burnout, rebuilding, and self-discovery to realize the reality 👉 we need both.

The world needs more harmony between these energies.

You guys... I'm closing my business.

Ok that's a big of an exaggeration 🤣

But I am sunsetting my OG business name Integrative Wellness Journeys 🥹.

I'll never forget the mental anguish that came with choosing a name for my business almost 8 years ago... How could I possibly capture everything that I do?!

At the time, I was blending health coaching with fitness training, mindfulness, meditation and Reiki.

The list of things I'd blend into my sessions, classes and programs would only grow with time, so the name definitely served me for many years 🤣.

But in 2022 something happened... I was getting bored.

I was bored of having the same conversations over and over again about how you master your energy, heal, align to your purpose and manifest your goals.

I was feeling that soul-fired Manifestor urge (iykyk) to completely pivot and abandon all I'd built over the years as a practitioner, teacher, and mentor.

But this Capricorn rising needed to feel a bit more grounded and stable before making that move 🤣.

From January 2023 and beyond, I began the gradual transition from B2C to B2B.

Slowly, I stopped taking healing clients. Energetically I knew I needed to disconnect from that work to fully step into my purpose as a holistic business coach.

So, I'm done with Integrative Wellness Journeys.

What's next? Something so fun and expansive that I've been working on behind the scenes with since August 🫣.

And she's going to be revealed soon 😘.

P.S. I was trying to find my original logo and business card (I couldn't 😭) and instead found this card from my VERY FIRST business circa 2010, which was before grad school, corporate, and academia. What a journey!

The real secret to lasting success in your business 👇

Visibility? Nope.
Better messaging? Not that either.
Strategy? Nuh uh.

You need more love. Specifically, love and compassion for yourself.

The more you love and honor who you are, the more magnetic and sustainable your success becomes. Before you roll your eyes, hear me out…

Radical self-love means:

✨ Trusting your intuition.
✨ Believing you’re worthy of being seen.
✨ Setting boundaries that protect your energy.
✨ Charging your worth without guilt.
✨ Creating from authenticity, not performance.

As Brené Brown puts it, “You either walk inside your story and own it, or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness.”

Self-criticism shows up in sneaky ways...

Including, but not limited to: overworking, hustling, under-charging, self-sabotaging launches, over-giving for fear of not being enough.

So how do we remedy this?
How do we stop living in this performative energy of seeking worthiness again and again (consciously or subconsciously)?

We do it the same way we shift anything else, we stop giving energy to the fear of not being good enough or dwell on the “what if this doesn't work out” thoughts.

And we anchor into a deeper spiritual love that has profound physiological, psychological, and spiritual effects on your life and business.

Doing more = success? Spoiler: it doesn't.

For the longest time, I believed the lie that doing more was the only way to succeed.

This is what I learned in school, was reinforced in corporate, and I brought this mindset with me into entrepreneurship...

Every waking moment I was thinking, planning, taking action, chasing the next idea — because I was so 👏 desperate 👏 to make it work.

It was 2019. I was still new in business as an integrative energy healer + coach, and all I wanted was to replace my corporate income and never go back to working “for the man.”

So I hustled…

✨ FB Lives (before they were cool 😅)

✨ Alllll the networking events

✨ Collabs, classes, digital products

✨ A blog, emails, workshops — the whole 9

I looked successful because I was showing up everywhere, but honestly it was a drag doing all of the heavy lifting for so few clients… it wasn’t even fun anymore...

It felt like corporate all over again — just without the paycheck and benefits (not cute).

Looking back, I wish someone had told me:

✨ All the “doing” in the world won’t matter if your energy is out of alignment.✨

Things didn’t shift until I started applying the same tools I used with clients — to my business.

It was late 2022, and something mystical happened.

It just clicked.

✅ I stopped forcing myself into someone else’s template.

✅ I tuned into my own inner guidance system.

✅ I had done the deeper work (hello, shadow work + identity shifts 🙃) and was ready to do things MY way, which of course, included nap breaks.

And eventually, I discovered there’s an even greater level of ease, freedom, and sustainability available in business — if you’re willing to claim it.

So let me offer you this, straight from my own journey…

👉 You don’t have to burn out to succeed.

👉 There is no prize for doing it the hard way.

👉 There’s no trophy for muscling through another draining launch.

👉 And there is definitely no rule that says success = sacrifice.

In my world, we do business differently.

We bridge the gap between proven strategy and your unique energetic alignment.
