Big smiles. Big energy. Big hearts.

Our SMRS family gathered for the Quarterly All-Agency Meeting, where we laughed, learned, and reconnected with what keeps us strong, each other.

CEO Bruce Boardman set the tone with gratitude, and Johnny Hudson brought the motivation with his talk on health and self-care (and a few good laughs, too!).

Here’s to building brighter communities: one act of compassion at a time.

On September 20, Gerardo Barraza and Shawny Truong from Mid Valley Outpatient joined the El Monte Police Department’s TORCH Program to speak with local youth about substance use and making healthy choices.

💬 “As someone who once had to travel through the justice system, it brings me passion, compassion, and joy to help heal our younger generation and break cycles of intergenerational trauma,” Shawny shared.

Together, we’re building hope, one conversation at a time.
