Friday Happy Hours are so much fun at The Retreat of Covington. When Mr. Ron Jones from New Orleans is in the house it is a great party straight from The Big Easy. The residents love the familiar tunes that they grew up listening to. Each Friday we offer a different artist that brings joy to everyone in the building. Come by and visit on a Friday afternoon!

Darts anyone?? We have a great group of residents who love to play darts. Depending on the weather they can play indoors or outdoors. Many have never played darts before this and have found out that they are really good and enjoy it. This is played on Mondays and Mr. Donnie is our group Captain who not only teaches the new players but has taught the Program Director how to play as well.

Happy Thursday Pham!

We are so blessed to have been adopted by our new Phoenix Pham. So much, we want to share that excitment with you! Families, associates and residents are invited to join us Wednesday the 18th from 6pm-8pm in our dining hall. There we plan to share updates on how we hope to improve the internal care and engagement of our residents through programs PSL has created. Ms. Christy and myself (Campbell) are there to answer billing questions, staffing concerns and how we plan to improve the training and orientation of our associates. Ms. Donna and Ms. Shawanda will give updates on our new health record system, assessment process and how they plan to manage service plans moving forward. Matt, our Food & Beverage Director will discuss our dining service and gauge your level of satisfaction with food. Thomas our Facilities Director will listen to any housekeeping or maintenance concerns you have. Then last but not least, Ms. Dawn will share how she plans to introduce new program standards for activities and how this will extend to our local community's youth.

My hope is to have my Senior Executive Director, Nichole, present to hopefully share our timeline for renovations and what areas they plan to address.

Quarterly family nights are open to both Assisted Living and Pearl families (Memory Care), so take advantage of this opportunity. Come share your feedback! People are our mission and satisfaction is our duty. So thank you for trusting in us.

God Bless 🙏,
Campbell McClure, Executive Director

At Phoenix Senior Living, we believe community begins with connection.

The strongest communities are not built by chance — they are shaped by relationships, shared history, and the comfort of familiar faces. When a resident is joined by a lifelong friend, former neighbor, or trusted confidant, belonging starts on day one.

Today, we are proud to introduce the Better Together Referral Program.Better Together is rooted in a simple truth: life is richer when it’s shared. By encouraging residents and families to invite those they trust into the Phoenix experience, we’re strengthening more than occupancy. We’re easing transitions, reducing isolation, and intentionally cultivating communities where meaningful relationships thrive.

This program is designed to:
• Celebrate the trust our families place in us
• Foster deeper connections within our communities
• Support smoother transitions into senior living
• And thoughtfully recognize those who help us grow

Growth matters. But how we grow matters even more. At Phoenix Senior Living, we are committed to building communities defined not just by care and service — but by belonging.

Because we are truly
