NorthKey Community Care is transforming lives and communities through excellence in mental health, substance use, and developmental disability services. NorthKey Community Care has been providing quality mental health, substance use, and developmental disability services in the Northern Kentucky community since 1966. With multiple locations in the eight Northern Kentucky counties (Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, and Pendleton), NorthKey Community Care strives to help make access to services convenient for you and your family. Our services are offered in a variety of approaches and levels of intensity, including:
•Crisis screening and assessment
•Outpatient individual, family and group therapy
•Case management services
•Short-term intensive outpatient services
•Longer-term outpatient services
•Prevention services, education and skills training
•Specialized services related to housing supports and vocational rehabilitation training/support for individuals meeting appropriate criteria. The Blue Christmas event is held to offer support and comfort to anyone navigating the holiday season while experiencing grief, depression, stress, job loss, broken families, and more.

This is one event NorthKey truly looks forward to participating in each year. Thank you to Bluegrass Care Navigators and their incredible team for organizing such a meaningful, impactful event and for continuing to make a difference for those who need it most during the holidays.

NorthKey is excited to share that Rob Vonckx has been named Chief of Operations and Strategy.

In this expanded role, Rob will help shape NorthKey’s strategic direction while building strong relationships with healthcare partners, community and business leaders, and elected officials—connections that are essential to supporting behavioral health needs across our eight-county region.

Rob, a Kentucky-licensed attorney, has been part of NorthKey’s senior leadership team for 14 years and previously served as Chief of Operations and Talent Management. He will continue overseeing operations while bringing his deep knowledge, commitment, and passion for the community to this new role.

Here's what Rob said about this new position: “The behavioral health needs in our community are growing, and NorthKey is growing to meet those needs. My expanded role will allow me to play a larger part in that growth and will allow NorthKey to better position itself to meet those community needs. I’m very passionate about helping my community and the people who live here, and I am excited about this opportunity to further NorthKey’s mission to make a greater impact in the Northern Kentucky community.”
