Free Community Food & Nutrition Classes are coming to Willing Helpers Medical Clinic.

Join Open Hand Registered Dietitians for a free 7-week workshop where Newton County residents can learn practical cooking and nutrition skills, including meal preparation, healthy recipes, and tips for stretching a food budget.

Classes meet weekly from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on April 10, 17, 24 and May 1, 8, 15, 22 at Willing Helpers Medical Clinic in Covington.

DULUTH, Ga. — The Georgia Baptist Health Care Ministry Foundation awarded more than $9.2 million in grants to 87 health care ministries serving communities across the state on Thursday, Feb. 19, pushing the foundation’s total giving since 2007 past $100 million.
