🎖️Veteran Spotlight #15: Jim🎖️

Jim served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958! During his time, he worked in radar maintenance, ensuring the planes had reliable radar systems for missions. Jim helped keep the communication clear and operations running smoothly throughout the sky!

🎖️Veteran Spotlight #14: Dave🎖️

Dave voluntarily joined the U.S. Army before the Berlin Crisis. During his service, he attended clerk school, where he trained in administrative and organizational duties to help keep military operations running smoothly.

🎖️Veteran Spotlight #13: Leo🎖️

Leo served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. He was part of an engineering battalion and was stationed at Fort Knox, Fort Lee, Camp Pickett, and Fredericksburg. During his service, Leo worked in the field crushing rock and building tank roads.

We’re thankful for Leo’s hands-on dedication and the important role he played in supporting our nation’s military. Thank you, Leo! ❤️

🎖️Veteran Spotlight #12: Joe🎖️

Meet Joe, who was drafted into the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962 during the Berlin Crisis. Stationed in Missouri, he served as a Combat Engineer and Demolition Expert—responsible for building or blowing up bridges, airfields, and other structures as part of his training and missions. Joe achieved the rank of Specialist 5 and proudly served his country with skill and courage.

Thank you, Joe for your service and dedication to our nation! ❤️

🎖️Veteran Spotlight #11: Jerry🎖️

Jerry served in the U.S. Navy from 1984 to 1988. He began his service in the kitchen and quickly discovered a passion for cooking, leading him to attend Navy Culinary School. Stationed in San Diego, Jerry cooked aboard a destroyer ship and even formed a lifelong friendship with one of his shipmates. Though he once swore he’d never cook again after leaving the military, Jerry has now been the beloved Head Chef at St. Charles for 31 years!

We’re proud to honor Jerry for his service & for continuing to share his talents and dedication with our community every day! ❤️

🎖️Veteran Spotlight #9: Charlie🎖️

Meet Charlie, who served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1969. During the Vietnam War, Charlie served as an OBGYN at the Naval Hospital, caring for military families and service members. After his time in the Navy, Charlie continued his calling as a doctor throughout his career.

Charlie, thank you for dedicating your life to helping others and for your service to this country! ❤️

🎖️Veteran Spotlight #8: Ted🎖️

Ted served in the U.S Army from 1952-1954 during the Korean War. After completing Infantry ROTC, he trained at Fort Benning, where he became an individual weapons instructor - teaching basic trainees how to handle rockets, hand grenades, and other infantry weapons.

We’re proud to honor Ted for his service and the vital role he played in preparing soldiers to serve our country! ❤️

🎖️Veteran Spotlight #7: Gerry🎖️

Just 14 days after graduating college with a psych degree, Gerry was drafted into the U.S. Army. He served in Richmond, Virginia for two years, where he tested new recruits to see if they qualified for their field placement.

We are so grateful for Gerry’s service and are proud to honor the important role he played in supporting our nation. Thank you, Gerry! ❤️
