✨ Happy Lab Week! ✨

Lab Week 2026 is here, and STHS is proud to recognize our Laboratory professionals whose work often happens out of sight but is central to everything we do.

This year, our colleagues in the lab are having a little fun with the celebration by adopting a “Toy Story” theme – with all the pull-out-the-stops décor they’re known for employing during Lab Week.

In addition to a week filled with fun, games, treats and thank-yous, the STHS lab will also once more host a Lab Week blood drive at St. Tammany Parish Hospital this Wednesday, April 22.

Want to donate? Look for the Bloodmobile in the parking lot from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. As always, walk-ins are welcome although appointments are preferred and can be made through the Blood Center website 👉 https://www.tbcdonors.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/55387

We are proud to sponsor the Mauti Tennis Classic, taking place April 16–19 at Stone Creek Club & Spa in Covington!

For nearly four decades, the Mauti has supported those affected by cancer, raising funds that directly support local patients, advance research, and promote education, prevention, and early detection across our community.

We’re honored to support an event that continues to make such a meaningful impact on the Northshore. 💙

April is Stress Awareness Month ❤️

At St. Tammany Health System, we know that stress is more than just a feeling—it can have real impacts on your physical and mental health if left unchecked. From headaches and fatigue to heart health concerns, chronic stress can take a toll over time.

The good news? Small, intentional steps can make a big difference. Here are a few simple ways to help manage stress and protect your well-being:

✨ Prioritize sleep – Aim for 7–9 hours each night to help your body recover and recharge.
✨ Stay active – Even a short daily walk can boost mood and reduce tension.
✨ Practice mindfulness – Deep breathing, meditation or quiet reflection can calm your mind.
✨ Know when to seek help – Don’t hesitate to talk to a healthcare professional if stress feels overwhelming.

Taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. This month, let’s commit to slowing down, checking in with ourselves and supporting one another.
