Please join us in congratulating our Star of the Week, Carolyn! ⭐
Carolyn has been at The Waters of Covington twice for rehabilitation. Her first stay focused on rebuilding endurance after recovering from COVID and pneumonia. Her most recent stay was for knee replacement recovery and therapy.
“One of my favorite places to be was therapy because my therapy instructor was very nice and funny,” Carolyn shared. She also loved the activities planned by the Activity Department—Angie, Brenda, and Anya—who always made her stay enjoyable.
Around Christmas time, Carolyn especially enjoyed a game where she won a teddy bear, which she named Mr. Waters 🧸.
“I choose to come back to The Waters because I truly like and enjoy the people here. The staff is to be commended for the excellent job they do every day. The care from the doctors and nurses was top-notch, and I was treated very well. It feels like a warm, home-like atmosphere.”
And her final words say it all:
“I’d go back again—and I’d take Mr. Waters with me. I always say to myself when leaving, I come out a better person than when I went in.” 💙
