We’re celebrating 2 wonderful years in October, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks to God’s faithfulness and your support, we’re growing and moving into a brand-new studio space. Don’t worry, we’re still just a couple of miles away, so you won’t have far to go.

📍 Starting October 1st, all appointments will be located at: 2180 Elm St. Covington, GA 30014

Ever had your hand randomly close during a massage? 🤨✋

That’s not magic, it’s your nervous system doing its thing. When certain muscles in your forearm or upper arm are massaged, especially near the flexor tendons or nerve pathways (like the median or ulnar nerve), your brain might trigger an involuntary reflex. It feels like your hand is closing on its own, because it kinda is!

This is called a reflexive motor response, and it’s totally normal. Your body’s muscle and nerve receptors are highly responsive to pressure, and when the right spot is activated, it can cue the grasping muscles in your hand to contract.

👉 It might feel weird, but also weirdly satisfying, like your body is letting go of tension without you even trying.

The best part? It’s often a sign that we’re accessing deep layers of muscle and nervous system pathways, exactly where a lot of stress likes to hide.

We’ve been BUSY at Holistic Healing Massage Studio — and so grateful for our amazing community! 💛
🌿 We started the week at the City of Covington Health Fair, offering free 5-minute chair massages and connecting with both familiar faces and new friends.
🌿 Next stop: Oxford College, where we provided chair massages for their incredible staff. Huge thanks to Mitzi and Donna for helping us take care of everyone in one day!
🌿 We wrapped up at the Geranium Festival in McDonough, offering chair massages and donating the proceeds to the Missions Ministry at First Baptist Church of McDonough.We love what we do, and we love who we do it for. ✨
