My beautiful client spent years working as a lifeguard .. endless days in the sun protecting others, but that sunshine slowly took a toll on her skin.

Over time, she developed something called
idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis, those tiny white “freckle-like” spots that form from chronic UV exposure.

In simple terms, these spots happen when pigment cells stop producing color in small areas after years of sun damage. While they can’t be completely removed, our goal has been to minimize the pigmentation around those spots and restore a smooth, even glow to the surrounding skin. This will minimize the appearance of the white spots.

We’ve taken a slow and gentle approach because she still loves being outdoors and spending her weekends on the river, so we have to be extra mindful with what treatments we do and when.

Her plan has included:

✨ Microneedling with PRP
✨ Chemical peels
✨ A customized skincare routine for pigment control + barrier support
