💙 The holidays may be over, but safety still matters as we start the new year. 💙

As decorations come down and routines settle back in, now is a great time to take a few simple steps to keep your home and family safe during winter weather and beyond.

🔌 Unplug holiday lights and electronics.
🕯️ Safely store candles and decorations.
🔥 Keep heaters clear of flammable items.
🔋 Check batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
🧰 Restock emergency supplies used over the holidays.

Cold snaps, power outages, and winter storms can still happen in the weeks ahead — especially here in Louisiana. A quick safety check now can help prevent emergencies later!

Here’s to a safe, prepared, and healthy new year for our community! 💙
