Thank you for such a beautiful class this morning, everyone! 💙

Truly grateful for this community that holds space for real life, real feelings, and real growth.

It meant the world to be back in the studio with you, sharing breath, movement, and a little quiet space together. I hope you left feeling a bit more grounded and kind to yourself.

I’m still so touched by the grace, excitement, and open arms you’ve all shown welcoming me back from maternity leave. Your patience as I ease back into teaching, your smiles, your presence—it’s all been such a gift.

No need to change it. Just notice.

That simple act of awareness brings you back to the present, anchors your body, and gently reminds your nervous system: “You’re safe here.”

🌿 Wrapping up our 6-Week Stress Reduction Mindful Series this week! 🌿

What a beautiful journey together — thank you to everyone who joined the FB Lives, breathed with us, and showed up for these gentle practices. 💙

We started small (just 1 minute a day!) and built real tools:

Week 1 → Breath as anchor
Week 2 → Body awareness (pleasant ✨ / unpleasant 😔 / neutral 😐 — all temporary waves)
Week 3 → Breath + body connection (thawing the freeze, grounding in the present)
Week 4 → Feelings (noticing without autopilot reaction — no feeling is final)
Week 5 → Thoughts (they come & go; notice, name, let pass)
Final week → A Mindful Life... paying attention on purpose, in the present, free of judgment.

These short, practical pauses help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress reactivity, and build calm resilience.

If you missed any, check out insignt timer... https://insig.ht/FM5PiOpMU0b

In our mindfulness practice, the first gentle step with thoughts is simple:
Notice them. See them. Name them.
That small act of recognition already brings us back into awareness—back into the present, instead of getting swept away.
Sometimes my mind feels exactly like rush-hour traffic on I-70—cars (thoughts) zooming everywhere, honking, merging, relentless.
Here’s what helps me:
Would I really run out into the middle of that traffic and try to stop every single car?
Or can I just sit on the side of the road, watch them go by, and let them pass?
Letting thoughts go doesn’t mean pushing them away, ignoring them, or pretending they don’t exist.
It means meeting them with curiosity and kindness (“Oh, there’s that worry again…”) and then allowing them to keep moving.
Trying to forcefully stop or fight thoughts usually just creates more tension and struggle.
What we’re practicing together is something kinder: a new, calmer relationship with our minds—one where thoughts can come and go without hijacking our peace.
So this week, when the mental traffic picks up… try this:
Pause. Notice. Name it (“planning,” “worrying,” “replaying”).
Then breathe, and let it pass like cars on the highway.
How’s the traffic in your mind today? Drop a 🚗 or a 🛑 below—or just share one word for what you’re noticing.
Grateful to be practicing this with you. 💙
