This past weekend, University Radiology had the honor of attending the NJ State American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) annual convention, bringing together hundreds of physicians and hospital executives to celebrate unity, academic excellence, and community leadership. ✨

We are pleased to welcome Maria Clara Fernandes, M.D., to our team of subspecialized Radiologists. Dr. Fernandes attended the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil, for her M.D. degree, and completed her Residency at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil. Dr. Fernandes attended Fellowships in CT and MRI at the Fleury Group, RJ, Brazil; Body Imaging at the Imaging Center of Rede D’Or, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil; and Fellowships in both Oncologic Imaging, and Oncologic Nuclear Medicine at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY. We’re proud to welcome Oluwatoyin Dada, M.D. to our team of subspecialized radiologists.

Dr. Dada earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her medical degree from Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School(RWJMS). She completed her Internship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian Health. She began her residency in Diagnostic Radiology and transitioned to the Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (IR/DR) residency at Mount Sinai, Icahn School of Medicine, NY. Dr. Dada holds the rank of Clinical Instructor in the Department of Radiology at Rutgers, RWJMS. Dr. Dada is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Our team had an amazing time this Sunday at the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk Point Pleasant Walk! A big thank you to all of our 50+ University Radiology employees who participated in the event and our team who did a fabulous job at our tent at the starting line. The event was a huge success, with 22,000 walkers who came together in support of ending breast cancer!��We are proud to stand by and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Point Pleasant Beach - NJ in the fight against breast cancer!
