Thank you to all of you for being so incredibly kind and generous!! And also please don’t stop!!

Our Pajama Program, now known as Beyond Bedtime, Union county director already picked up almost 1200 pjs and about 300 books…to bring right to empty shelves in shelters in our area.

THE NEED IS SO GREAT! We probably have close to 200 right now and I wish that it wasn’t needed. But there are children that have NEVER had a pair of pjs or book of their own.

Every pair and every book makes a difference.

❤️🎉IT IS PAJAMA SEASON🎉❤️

Every year during our pajama collection, I become very aware of how grateful I am for what we take so happily for granted.

I know that every night there are women in our area who must leave home in the middle of the night with their children…and nothing else.

I know that there are children in our area who have NEVER had pajamas of their own or don’t even know what pajamas are.

For those moms, for those children, we collect. I know a pair of pajamas and a book will not fix everything, but it can make the nights a little easier. A little more snuggly. 😴

Every pair, every book makes a difference.📚

I know that we all take pajamas for granted.

But imagine for a moment that you are leaving in the middle of the night with your children for their safety and yours. You are going to a shelter with nothing but the clothes you have on.

What a comfort it would be for someone to give you new pajamas for your children and a book for you to read to them.

Tomorrow is going to be hard, but tonight is a little bit easier.

Every pair of pajamas and every book = one cozy child.

Our towns’ heart was broken this week. We are coming together and healing while trying to support the families of Maria and Isabella.

Healing can sometimes be messy with anger and blame, we just can’t stay there. Let’s continue to go forward with compassion, there is no way but through and together is when our beautiful town is at our best💙💛
