But as the shock begins to wear off around 7–8 months, many new parents start to truly feel the weight of it all. Identity shifts, relationship changes, and a new sense of isolation can quietly creep in.

This stage is when mental health support becomes even more important. Parenthood isn’t just about caring for your baby! It’s also about caring for you. Both moms and dads can experience emotional challenges, and both deserve to be seen, heard, and supported.
