Adele “Della” Milnes, 97, of Hope formerly of Johnston, passed peacefully away on Sunday February 8, 2026. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Mariano and Rosa (Paliotto) DiFazio. She was the beloved wife of the late William Milnes.

Alongside her husband Bill, she enjoyed impromptu scenic drives to Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Those rides weren’t complete without singing their favorite songs together. She loved to see the newest babies, from her nieces and nephews and looked forward to seeing them as they continued to grow. Her love for those children was also shown as she attended the weddings of all those beloved family members, seeing the brides made her face light up. She was a devout catholic and long-time member of St. Rocco’s Church, attending until she was no longer able. She also took great pride in caring for her house, to be able to entertain her extended family.

She is survived by her sister Etta Morrocco. She was predeceased by her 11 siblings Susie Cardillo, Lucy Cherubino, Teolinda Corvese, Chistina DiLanna, Marco, Mario, Angelo, John, Albert, and Ernest DiFazio, and Anne Barone. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on TUESDAY February 17, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston, 02919. Entombment will be in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held from 8:00 – 10:00 am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Ralph E. Palmieri, Jr., Ret. Sgt. CPD

Ralph E. Palmieri, Jr., Ret. Sgt. CPD, a lifelong resident of Cranston and a cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, in Providence, RI, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 28, 1959, in Providence, he was the son of the late Ralph E. Palmieri, Sr. and Beatrice (Parthen) Palmieri. He was the beloved husband of the last 45 years to Andrea (Spires) Palmieri, he lived a life marked by dedication, humor, and a profound love for his family.

Ralph's professional career spanned several decades with the City of Cranston. He began his journey in the Parks Department and transitioned to animal control, where he showcased his commitment to public service. His dedication culminated in a distinguished career with the Cranston Police Department. Rising through the ranks, Ralph became a Detective and proudly retiring after 24 years as a Sergeant, leaving a legacy of integrity and respect in the force.

An alumnus of Cranston East High School, Ralph was a man of many interests. He possessed an uncanny sense of humor, known for his perfectly timed wit that brought joy and laughter to those around him. His humility endeared him to many, but it was time spent with his family that brought him the greatest joy. Ralph's happiness radiated in the presence of his grandchildren, whom he adored.

Ralph was also an avid music lover, with a particular fondness for classic rock. His playlists would often feature bands like Queen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the timeless works of Frank Zappa, reflecting his eclectic taste and passion for music.

Besides his beloved wife he is survived by his son, Ralph E. Palmieri, III and his wife Jacqueline; his daughter, Rhea Palmieri and her husband Jarred; and his cherished grandchildren, Mason Almond, Vienna Palmieri, Willow Almond, Delia Palmieri, Mila Meruvia-Rico, and Israel Meruvia-Rico. Additionally, he leaves behind his sister, Julie A. Iaciofano and her husband Joseph, sister-in-law, Debbie Culotta, and nieces Jamie, Jianna, and Jenna Iaciofano. Ralph also leaves a lasting bond with his cousins Raynia Hemmer, Marsha Crews and several extended cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Nardolillo Funeral Home, located at 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday February 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI 02920.Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. 73, passed away peacefully on February 8th, after bravely fighting an aggressive neurological degenerative disease.

Before retiring Erna devoted 46 years of service to The Miriam Hospital, where her commitment and work ethic left a lasting impression on colleagues and patients alike.

Erna is survived by her loving wife, Roberta Bavaro; her cherished daughter, Jennifer Martone, and son-in-law, Karl Martone; and her beloved grandchild, Dante Fiorio, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her brothers, Stephen Iannetta and Kenneth Iannetta, along with extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Iannetta and Rose Iannetta, as well as her first husband, Albert Howarth.

Erna will be remembered for her strength, loyalty, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her legacy lives on in the family, the lives she touched through her work, and the many memories shared by those who knew her.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Erna’s memory.

74, a lifelong resident of Cranston, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026. He was the son of the late Dante and Nata Ciambrone. He is survived by his dear siblings, Stephen Ciambrone, Peter Ciambrone, Lori Ciambrone and Dante Ciambrone, all of Cranston. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, great nieces, and cousins.

Carl was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He also loved listening to podcasts about sports. Carl loved spending time down by the shore and loved to fish.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

77, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at West Shore Health Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Guglielmo, Sr. Born in Providence, and raised in Johnston she was the daughter of the late Ligian B. Russo, Sr. and Dorothy (Spiridigliozzi) Russo.

A sharp and talented bookkeeper, Linda’s career spanned many years, where she worked for both AT Siravo and AJ Martin in the same building in Warwick RI. Driven by a deep passion for helping and serving others, she later became the co-owner of Meatball Mike’s on Cranston St in Knightsville. She took immense pride in taking on the daily rewards and responsibilities of this challenging family business, playing a pivotal role in the restaurant's success and personally developing many of the original recipes that brought families and friends together.

Linda found her greatest peace in the simple passions of life. She was an avid gardener who spent countless hours tending to her vibrant flower and plant gardens, finding beauty in the bloom of every season. For 17 years, she and Michael called Leesburg, Florida home. Following his passing, Linda returned to Rhode Island to be closer to those she held dear. She was filled with immense strength and devotion, especially as a dedicated caregiver to her husband for many years. In her own later years, she valiantly fought her dementia diagnosis with the same grace and resilience she always showed throughout her life.

She is survived by her devoted children, Gregory Guglielmo and his wife Sheryl of Cranston, and Raymond Guglielmo and his wife Christine of Johnston. She was the loving stepmother of Deborah Campagnone and her husband John of Cranston, Michelle DiMaio and her husband Frank of Bluffton, S.C., and Michael Guglielmo, Jr. and his wife Deana of Cranston.

As a proud grandmother, she adored her grandchildren, Gianni, Jovanna, Gabriella, and Charlee Guglielmo. She also leaves behind her cherished step-grandchildren, Alysha, Aindrea, and Alana.

Linda is survived by her siblings: Deborah Guglielmo of Cranston, Richard Russo and his wife Jane of Cranston, Paul Russo and his wife Cheryl of Warwick, and Toni Russo and her wife Lisa of Johnston. She was predeceased by her brother, Ligian Russo, Jr. Linda was also an immensely proud aunt to her many nieces and nephews, whose lives and accomplishments she celebrated deeply.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 24th, at 10:00 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial is kindly omitted. Visiting Hours are from 9:00 – 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 24th.

John E. Marandola

After 93 years of a life rich in love, stories, and family, John E. Marandola, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Miriam Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Cynthia Marandola for 61 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Enrico and Lucy (Giuliano) Marandola. Mr. Marandola was a graduate of LaSalle High School, Providence College and RI College (M. Ed. Degree).

John was a middle school teacher in the Cranston School Department for over 30 years until his retirement in 1989. During his teaching career as a social studies teacher and department head, he touched the lives of many students and encouraged them to reach for their dreams. John was someone whose faith and service were central to life at Immaculate Conception Church and was a long-standing member of the men’s guild there. He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. John and his late wife enjoyed spending holidays with families, extensive time traveling, and many fun-filled trips to Foxwoods Casino.

John leaves behind his brother-in-law Joseph N. Bernardoni and his wife Ann of Cranston, his sister-in-law Adriana Marandola of Coventry, seven nieces and nephews, and ten great nieces and nephews. He was also the devoted father of the late John J. Marandola and brother of the late Harry Marandola.

86 of Molter Street, Cranston, passed away peacefully at Kent County Hospital on Friday, February 6, 2026. She was the wife of the late Daniel W. Perry Sr.

Born in Johnston, a daughter of the late William and Josephine (Pitocco) Salzillo, she lived in Cranston her entire life. She was a graduate of Cranston High School Class of 1957.

Mrs. Perry previously worked at Standard Parking at TF Green Airport, Providence Lacquer & Supply, and Arrow Florist.

She enjoyed making puzzles, crocheting, knitting and sewing, but most of all spending time with family, especially family game nights, Perry Palooza, and the many years of Christmas sleepover nights with all of her grandchildren.

She leaves four daughters, Doreen (George) Ballance of Bunn, NC, Debra (Edward) Generali and Donna (Wayne) King of Cranston, and Dawn (Edward) Mott of West Warwick; three sons, Daniel Jr. (Jerilyn) and Dean (Dawn) of Cranston and David (Julie) of Uncasville, CT; 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, 2 nephews, and 4 nieces. She is preceded in death by her daughter Diane and her husband Ernest Dunn and brother Camillo Salzillo.

With deep sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of Michael R. Impagliazzo of Johnston, Rhode Island, on February 6, 2026, at the age of 88. He was the devoted son of the late Joseph and Rose (Mastronardi) Impagliazzo.

Michael attended Brown University for one year before leaving to join his parents in running the family business, Josef Creations, Inc, founded by his father. Shortly after the passing of his father, he became President of the company, a role he proudly held for 54 years.

He was married to Deborah, with whom he shared 53 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they enjoyed entertaining, traveling, golfing, and spending time with their animals, family, and friends.

Michael had a deep love for music and played the saxophone as a member of the Bob Michael Melotones. He also enjoyed making homemade pizza and espresso martinis, and coaching and enthusiastically watching sports, especially those involving his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; his children, Joseph (Wendy) and Cheryl, his three cherished grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Jackson, Michael (Cassie) Impagliazzo, and Matthew Gerardi; and his three adored great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Rosemarie (Impagliazzo) Russo, and his three nephews, Anthony, William and Domenic.

Michael was also preceded in death by his first wife, Delores (Coppola) Impagliazzo, and his niece Sheila (Russo) Winbush.

Vito Antonucci, Jr.

80, formerly of Chepachet, passed away peacefully on February 4th at the R.I. Veterans Home in Bristol with his loving family by his side.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vito “Vic” Antonucci and Mary (Burns) Antonucci.

Vito grew up in Cranston, graduating from Cranston High School East in 1963. He worked for the former Arrow Transportation Co. before joining the U.S. Army, where he served as a decorated member of the Military Police Platoon of the 25th Infantry Division, proudly serving in the Vietnam war.

Upon returning from Vietnam, he joined the Cranston Police Department, where he served as a Police Officer until his transition into the corporate world. He was employed as the Transportation / Operations Manager for the former Roger Williams Foods, Wetterau Inc., SuperValu Inc. and McLaughlin and Moran, Inc. He was the vehicle fleet manager for the City of Providence until his retirement in 2016.

He leaves behind his beloved sons, Stephen Antonucci, Esq. and his wife, Michelle and Kevin Antonucci (Det. Sgt. CPD) and his wife, Rebecca. He was also the proud Papa of Kaitlyn, Stephen Jr., Ryan and Sydney Antonucci and Jared and Brenna Anderson.

He was the brother of John Antonucci, Marcia Perfetto, Patricia Iannelli, Joyce Lee, Corrine Alexander, and the late Carole Henry and Cynthia Antonucci. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were very important to him.

Vito loved being with his family and friends, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed attending sporting events, cooking, and most of all entertaining at his house. Vito was known for his quick wit, his ability to tell a story and no one could hold a grudge like him. He also organized and participated in many charity events and was quick to help anyone in need. Vito was fiercely loyal to his many friends, and he was a huge supporter of law enforcement and the military.

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Steve Resnick who died on February 5, 2026 after a courageous battle with an incurable brain tumor. He was born on June 27, 1949 in Patterson, NJ to the late Bernard and Faye Resnick. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia Jerome Resnick for 21 wonderful years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Ronald Resnick and his wife Nancy of Mahwah, NJ; as well as nephews Matthew Resnick and his wife Lindsey and Michael Resnick of New York.

Steve was a graduate of Quinnipiac University and spent his career working in retail for various companies across New York, Florida and Rhode Island. Prior to his retirement, he served as a Marketing Director for Travel Pro Luggage in Boca Raton, FL.

Giving back to others was important to Steve. He volunteered many hours at the Food Banks in RI and FL. Also, he taught English and Math to Hispanic speaking students at the Bonita Springs Literacy Center. Additionally, he assisted at sports games for Special Olympics and helped Big Brothers and Sisters of America.

Steve’s true passion was playing golf with various men’s leagues in RI and FL, as well as painting amazing acrylic landscapes, ocean and boat paintings.

NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL has prepared Steve’s remains for a graveside service in Fair Lawn, NJ at a time chosen by the family. William M. Link, 60, a lifelong Cranston resident, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 3, 2026.

An avid antique enthusiast, William discovered his lifelong passion for furniture and antiques at a young age while working alongside his father, Jack. What began as an early interest grew into a lifelong calling, and together they built Second Time Around, a well-established furniture and antiques business in Providence. William was widely respected for his knowledge, discerning eye for quality, and dedication to his craft. He loved bringing people together and was known for hosting gatherings and parties as his children were growing up. Outside of his work, he found joy in the outdoors through fishing, camping, and boating, often sharing those moments with friends and family. A lifelong WWE wrestling fan, he also possessed a remarkable gift of gab—quickly turning strangers into friends and always ready with a story. While these passions filled his life, nothing meant more to him than his children and grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, John C. Link and Anna E. Link (Cathers), and his brother, Jeffrey Link. He is survived by his son, William Bailey, his daughter, Melissa Bailey, and her husband Anthony Santos. He was the proud grandfather to William Bailey Jr. and Elizabeth Bailey. He is also survived by his siblings, Jacqueline Flaminio, Jill Link, Robert Link, Kenneth Link, Jody Link, Lisa Usenia, Ann Marie Link, Mark Link, Jennifer Heywood, Kimberly Link, and Kerri Link, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
