We wanted to take a moment to let you know that our organization is currently going through a period of transition and growth. These changes are part of our ongoing effort to strengthen our mission, improve how we serve our community, and build a stronger foundation for the future.

We’ve also received several messages asking about this year’s walk. Unfortunately, our usual date was not held, and we are currently without a confirmed location for the event. Despite our efforts to secure a new venue, we have not been successful so far. As a result, we regret to share that this year’s walk will be postponed. We know how meaningful this event is to so many, and we share in your disappointment. Please know that we remain committed to bringing the walk back as soon as we’re able to secure a new space that meets the needs of our community.

Thank you again for your understanding and for standing by us. We look forward to sharing more updates with you soon.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our 8th Annual Silent No More for Ovarian Cancer! It was an amazing day and we can’t thank you enough for your continued support. We also can’t do this with out all our volunteers who help make this event such a success. We will post pictures soon but ask you all to share your pictures here or tag us on Instagram!!

2023 Run/Walk

We were overwhelmed with joy to see you all today and we thank you for joining us for our annual Silent No More 5K. We were not going to let a little rain (ok maybe it was a bit more than little) stop us from making noise and raising awareness about Ovarian Cancer. We celebrated our survivors and remebered our loved ones who are no longer with us.

A HUGE shout out to all our volunteers who help make this event a success, we can’t thank you enough.

One day left to sign up!!

If you’d like to join us on Sunday to support the Rhode Island Ovarian Cancer Alliance and their annual “Silent No More 5K Walk + Run,” tomorrow is the final day to register. The event has a new home this year (the Citizens Bank campus in Johnston) and lots of great happenings for a great cause. All of the money raised stays local, so please come out if you can. The action begins at 8 a.m., with opening ceremonies at 9:30 and the walk/run kicking off at 10 a.m. Check out riovarian.org for more.

💙 Our survivors, those who are still fighting, and the ones we will keep in our hearts are the reason we do this walk/run. We want to raise as much awareness about ovarian cancer as we can.

We are only a few weeks from our 7th annual Silent No More 5K for Ovarian Cancer at our new location Citizens Bank Johnston Campus on September 24th. As some of you may know anyone who registers before the deadline is guaranteed a T-Shirt. This year we are doing long sleeve shirts and we would love for you to vote on the final design. Vote for option 5 or option 6 in the comments!
