Dear Texas,

Get your priorities straight. We have a nationwide crisis on our hands and it has nothing to do with drag queens. If someone wants their child to be read to by a drag queen MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS and show respect to the person extending themselves to provide this gift to a post-pandemic child. If you don't want to attend, DONT GO... it boggles my mind that there is this idea of some kind of moral high ground that would be the foundation for this change, but... not only has there been NOTHING formally done in TX to avoid another massacre of our children and teachers, Congress has not, so far, seen the need to ban assault rifles... its a "bipartisan compromise" that fuels this, adding background checks and funds for schools security changes (because let's put more on the schools). I think if the hoops I have jumped through to get a driver's license, become an educator/SLP, get a passport, or just get through security at an airport... but an automatic firearm can be purchased without blinking an eye.... so Texas, tell me how it makes sense to ban drag queen story times with great haste? 🤷‍♀️

It's time for change

It's time to protect our most promising and precious students in the schools in the US

It's time to get real and put human life over good old boy deals, political agendas, and capitalism

It's time to respect ALL human life without judgement or criticism about how someone else chooses to live their life, particularly when expressing their authentic selves

It's time for the adults who claimed masks on our kidd at school were "traumatic", to start speaking up for the kids who are exposed to gun violence or who have to figure out how to navigate a terrifying lock down drill in a school that is preparing for an assault as if it would be as common and unavoidable or EXPECTED as a hurricane or blackout

It's time to let people live and keep them from dying!!!

So TEXAS, great job putting the important issues first in the wake of Uvalde. I am sure the parents of the children who were lost have great faith in you.

‘Jeopardy!’ contestant Amy Schneider’s 40-game winning streak came to an end on January 26. Schneider, who became the second-most-winning contestant in the game show’s history, finished second on Wednesday, losing to newcomer Rhone Talsma by a margin of $29,600 to $19,600. However, Schneider’s performance will go down in ‘Jeopardy!’ as one of the greatest of all time. She walked away with $1,382,800, making her the highest-earning woman in the competition's history.

‘When I started, my biggest goal was just to win four games. Not only did I end up winning 10 times as many, but I've heard from so many people, especially trans people and their loved ones, about how much it's meant to them to see me succeed, and that's something I will always, always be proud of,’ says Schneider.

Her journey with ‘Jeopardy!’ is not over yet. The California resident will return to the game show later in 2022 for its Tournament of Champions. Schneider is the first out transgender contestant to qualify for that tournament.
