A powerful story!

Zach Galifianakis met Marie "Mimi" Haist while she was living in a laundromat, surviving on customer tips. Homeless after her divorce, Mimi was allowed to sleep between washers and dryers. Despite being an unknown comedian at the time, Zach helped her find a comfortable apartment, covering her rent. As Zach's fame grew, especially after the "Hangover" trilogy, he remained humble and their friendship strengthened. He even took Mimi to a red carpet event, providing her with experiences she never imagined.

Their bond lasted 27 years until Mimi passed away at 96, illustrating a story of kindness and loyalty.

This time of year, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and stressed with all the planning, shopping, and social commitments. If you feel stressed, it's important to embrace the concept of being present and appreciating the current moment. By focusing on where you are right now, you can ground yourself and reduce anxiety.

There are things you can control and manage...let go of the rest. Find peace in letting go the rest.
