“No one tells you this… but pain and leaks are not part of the ‘new normal.’” 💔

If you’re living with chronic pain, bladder leaks, pelvic pressure, or discomfort long after giving birth, please hear this: your body is not broken, and this is not something you’re supposed to just accept. 🤍

These struggles may be common, but they are not normal — they’re quiet cries for support after everything your body carried, stretched, and endured.

You deserve to move without pain, laugh without fear of leaking, and feel connected to your body again. 🌱

Healing is possible, help exists, and your postpartum story doesn’t have to be one of suffering in silence.

"Your MRI is normal."

But you're NOT fine.

You're in pain. And no one's listening.

Here's what most doctors miss:

Fascia holds trauma, birth injuries, accidents, and grief that don't show up on scans.

When patients come to me with "normal" results but chronic pain, I don't look at their imaging—I listen to their TISSUE.

And when we finally release what's been stuck? The relief is profound.

Your pain is valid. Your story matters.

Hot take: Kegels aren't the answer for most women. 🔥

80% of the women I treat have HYPERTONIC (too tight) pelvic floors — not weak ones.

Doing Kegels on a bracing muscle is like telling someone with a clenched fist to “squeeze harder.” ✊

It makes everything WORSE.

If you've been doing Kegels for months and still leaking, it's not your fault — you're just treating the wrong problem.

You need to RELEASE before you rebuild. 🌿

✨ READ THIS IF YOU’ve EVER BEEN TOLD “YOUR TESTS ARE NORMAL”… ✨

There’s a quiet voice inside all of us.

Soft. Steady. Wise.

The one that whispers, “Something doesn’t feel right,” even when every lab, scan, and specialist says you’re “fine.”

But what if you don’t feel fine?

Here’s your reminder: YOU are the expert on your body.

Your labs can be normal.

Your scans can be clear.

And you can still be exhausted, foggy, inflamed, anxious, dizzy, in pain, or just… off.

That feeling?

That knowing?

It’s not imaginary.

It’s your nervous system, your gut, your cells speaking to you.

Too many people — especially women — get dismissed, brushed off, or made to feel dramatic when they describe symptoms that don’t fit neatly into a chart.

But your lived experience matters. It’s valid. It’s real.

Advocating for yourself isn’t always easy, but it is powerful.

Keep asking questions.

Keep searching.

Find practitioners who actually listen, who take your story seriously, who dig deeper instead of minimizing your symptoms.

You’re not “too sensitive.”

You’re not “making it up.”

You’re attuned.

So here’s your gentle permission slip:

✨ Trust your inner knowing.
✨ Get a second, third, tenth opinion if you need it.
✨ Rest without guilt.
✨ Explore new perspectives.
✨ Don’t stop until something finally makes sense.

You don’t need to be in crisis to deserve care.

Sometimes healing starts with three simple words:

“I trust myself.” 💕

Xo,

Dr. Jess

So, you’re thinking about booking a pelvic floor therapy consultation? But you’re like, “Oh god, I’m scared... Is this gonna be awkward?” 🫣

Well, buckle up, because here’s what actually happens! 👇

1️⃣ First, we talk it out: “So… what’s been going on down there?”

You spill the tea, and we start connecting the dots. You’re like, “I don’t even know what a pelvic floor is, help.” Totally normal. Totally fixable. 💬🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

2️⃣ Then, we get into the fun stuff: I might do a gentle pelvic floor assessment (don’t panic, it’s way less scary than your brain tells you).

Meanwhile you’re thinking, “Am I supposed to relax? Am I supposed to flex? Am I doing this right??” 🤔 Spoiler: Yes. You’re doing great.

3️⃣ Now, the magic happens: “Wait… this actually seems doable?” 🎉

We go over the game plan and roadmap to get your pelvic floor and entire body functioning like the MVP it was meant to be. No, we’re not breaking into synchronized squats. (Unless…?) 😂💪

4️⃣ Finally, you leave feeling like a pelvic floor pro: “I’m doing it. I’m doing it! SHUT UP, I’M DOING IT!” And suddenly everything just feels… better. 💃🕺✨

Bottom line: It’s not scary. It is for everyone. And your pelvic floor will thank you later. 😌🙌

Our Story

Arancia is a specialized pelvic health & chronic pain physical therapy practice that helps patients get back to enjoying their life again. Our patients come because they want more than a quick-fix, more than just pain relief. They’re looking at the bigger picture. They want to live a happy, fulfilling life. Arancia is the only PT to create customized plans for each patient that addresses the 3 phases to lasting physical transformation: 1) pain relief, 2) strength and a mobility, and 3) long term strategy. We know what it’s like to search for answers and face disappointment over and over again. This is more than pain relief. This is about helping you get to your outcome, whether it’s gardening or picking up your grandkid or maybe even just taking a bath without pain. Everybody’s different, but it’s your transformation that we’re here to help you create. You’re going to walk away knowing how to future-proof your body. Future-proofing means we’ve taught you what to do and what each feeling means in your body, like what to do with those sensations. What do they mean? So they don’t scare you, but instead inform you. That way you can self-treat. You have this one house you live in, we’re going to show you how to care for it and nurture it.
