Some say that the 3rd Monday of January is the saddest day, calling it Blue Monday. Some say it is January 15th. I recently heard it was January 18th, known as Quitter's Day. Whatever you call it, each represents a time period when the "new year, new you" vibe meets the reality of bills and the return to life at the high of the holiday season.
Well, it doesn't have to be that way. Community is one of the best ways to stay active in your goals. Who have you told about your goal? Who knows to ask about the gym or the new book you are reading? Who is going to ask where you were if you miss yoga?
Another helpful thing is to make S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Reward, Timely) goals. Growth is its own reward, but I like to give things away.
Comment below with what you are doing and how you are keeping after you goals this year, even if you haven't been perfect. I will pick a winner for a $100 gift card for Wild Fire Pizza.
An extra high five if you share how you already got behind and are catching up!
