I wanted to offer two various breakthrough treatments that the VA pays for. Ketamine therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). These treatments are more like cures for PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Chronic Pain, and Alcohol Use Disorder. I have never seen anyone, whether family or patients, not have one of these treatments change their life. Ketamine has 85% success rate and symptom relief sometimes within 24 hours of the first treatment. IV treatment is the best as it is 100% absorbed by the body. You can also receive it by sublingually (under the tongue) or nasal spray. I myself had PTSD, and I am 100% cured. It is a memory of a memory. I have practiced for 15 years and was a patient who became a provider. Everyone in psychiatry/mental health has wanted a "magic pill/cure," and these two treatments are the closest I have ever seen. They reset your mind literally. I am going to post two videos I send as treatment recommendations when I am working with vets on their Nexus letters/Mental Health Evaluations. Commercial Insurance won't even pay for ketamine because it cures and works that well.
Billions are made in "treating" illness, but if people are cured, then Insurance and "treatment" are no longer necessary. I encourage you to do your own homework, but another symptom that ketamine therapy quickly takes away is suicidal thoughts. I pray this helps you win the ongoing war of the mind.
