Because for some reason, the Thursday evening class ALWAYS ends up talking about food... we were talking about Pat making her own vanilla.

It's a woman-owned co-op, run by 2 sisters, they sell Fair Trade beans, and there's a great "Beanie" community with lots of sharing of recipes, tons of info on how to make your vanilla, etc.

If you're looking to make it for THIS year's holiday baking? Not going to happen. PATIENCE is a virtue in life and in vanilla-making. Start it NOW, and then for the 2026 holidays, you'll have wonderful, fragrant, HOME-MADE vanilla for all your baking needs.

This one looks like fun! What I love about these illustrations is that you can see where proper alignment is necessary.

We're not saying that everyone MUST LOOK ALIKE, but take a look at the X illustration. Picture yourself in this pose.

✅Can you imagine taking your head toward the sky to elongate your neck?
✅Can you see how that would engage your abs and make your spine longer?
✅Can you feel your front foot lining up with your knee?
✅Can you feel the the quad of the back leg engaging?

🌹🌹Forward Fold (Paschimottanasana)

Benefits are :-

• Stretches spine, hamstrings, and calves
• Improves posture and flexibility
• Calms the mind and relieves stress
• Stimulates abdominal organs for better digestion

This is a really great pose! Using the wall -- it's a great way to work with these revolved poses.

🌹🌹Revolved Triangle Pose (Parivrtta Trikonasana):
1. Stand in Tadasana (Mountain Pose), then step your feet about 3 feet apart.
2. Turn your right foot forward and your left foot slightly inward.
3. Inhale, extend your spine and lift your arms sideways at shoulder height.
4. Exhale, twist your torso toward your front leg, bringing your left hand to the floor or shin and your right arm up toward the ceiling.
5. Keep both legs straight and hips square to the front.
6. Gaze upward toward your raised hand.
7. Hold for a few breaths, then return to center and repeat on the other side.
