Mike graduated from our Development to Ascend phase with an impressive list of accomplishments!

1) Lost body fat while building strength. He lost a few Ibs but added a lot of lean muscle!

2) Completed all key performance indicators (KP|s) with flying colors. KPls are what we use to determine when someone is ready to graduate from Development to Ascend phase.

Development = one on one training
Ascend = doing all training and nutrition on own with a monthly check in

3) Mike is a modest human being but l'll brag for him. He went from knowledge to wisdom in a short time by committing 100 to the process.

Knowledge = learning all the FBT education pieces to set us up for better health, relationship with self/others, and being the best version of ourselves.

Wisdom = Living them!

4) He's also a local police officer. It makes me feel a lot safer knowing we having officers of the peace out there protecting and serving the public like this man. I would feel completely confident in having him called for an emergency with a loved one. He is doing the hard work on himself to ensure he's ready for a job that is challenging in ways I can't even imagine.

5) He's also an accomplished musician who regularly travels to play gigs all over. Check out The Mike Walsh Band! If you haven't heard of them yet you will. Because he also puts a lot of work into that craft.

I couldn't be prouder of how far you've come, the plus sets you put in towards your goals, and the person you are Mike!

The system loves to say “you’re done” even when you still can’t move the way you want, lift the way you used to, or chase the things you love without pain.

Recovery doesn’t end because you’re ready.

You’ll never find a person who says they wish they’d taken
WORSE care of their body.
To them, the advantages of living a healthy life are obvious.
They get to go on adventures with multiple generations of family members.
They’re confident enough to try new things.
They get to enjoy full physical freedom as they age...
That’s not what their unhealthy friends experience.
They get left behind, lose freedom, and have to deal with the discomfort and inconvenience of compounding chronic diseases.
You’ll never have buyer’s remorse when you invest in your health.

Once she committed to making time for training an interesting thing happened.

She’s found the time and energy to walk more.

She found the time and energy to create a nice home gym in her garage.

If we wait to find the energy and motivation for exercise it may never happen.

If we commit and take action those things tend to build. Just like her strength is already building!

One of the hardest things for Moms to do is practice “healthy selfishness”.

That’s making time just for themselves. A mother can’t breastfeed her baby without nourishing herself first.

Rachael is a great example of prioritizing her health so she can be a great role model for her kids and a better version of herself for everyone around her.

When we start taking responsibility for our own health it sends a powerful message to ourselves and the world.

Most days it’s the best option we have for doing our part to make the world a better place.

Jane was facing a dilemma. She’d been training with me in person but was moving to Florida.
We conversed well in advance on how her training could look when she moved.
I have clients all around the country so I assured her we could do remote or zoom training.
Remote training is where I program all clients workouts & nutrition and we do a monthly check in... so I asked her “Be own, what’s the chances you’ll do your workouts on your
She chuckled and replied “Right around zero percent.”
Neither of us liked those odds so after navigating her move and setting up a whole new home we resumed one on one sessions via Zoom/Facetime.

Guess what?

Not only has she got back to doing two regular strength training sessions per week with me, she’s now doing water aerobics on “off days.”
After being fearful of maintaining her routine she’s actually used the change to build an even more robust fitness routine!
She even rode her bike with a friend to our last session.
Confidence and strength to ride her bike again was one of her goals when she started training with
GOAL SMASHED!
Couple key points here:
1) We chose a two week break for her move and unpacking.
This allowed her to not feel overwhelmed. She also did at least one workout on her own during that time so her percentage is not zero anymore!
2) I can build a plan for you no matter where you live or your schedule.

Let’s hear it for Jane for overcoming fears and prioritizing her health! 👏

You say you’ll do anything for your family. Work your ass off to give them a better life.

You’d die for your kids if you had to we’re guessing. Bravo 👏
