Winter Hoopla at the Art Garden in Shelburne Falls.

I was having one of those “Universe drops a bomb” days. My mood completely shifted after attending this winter evening outdoor art sculpture walk.

Grateful for the artists. They help us to heal during challenging times. Let’s always support them.

The ski season is shorter here. The forecast calls for lots of warm weather and rain as we enter March. Maple sugaring season.

I made sure I went skiing at .east one last time before conditions get mushy. Adjusting to the weather of the northeast. Tons of snow, but suddenly spring is on the way. Time to travel north for better snow and colder temps.

We are on a break before the participants do their practice teaching and we wrap up this weekend’s trauma-informed yoga therapy for marginalized communities training.

My heart expands when I share these trainings because I so enjoy connecting with the participants, and knowing that they will be sharing these skills in their communities all around the country and the world.

The trainings usually attract marginalized participants, so it’s often a very diverse group of people with similar and unique challenges that marginalized people face.

It’s an opportunity to learn from each other about how we are marginalized and how we can share yoga with compassion and awareness.

Treated myself to some Indian food at Masala in Brattleboro, VT at their new location off Main St.

So delicious and nourishing after swimming, aqua yoga, soaking and sauna at the salt water pool.

Some deep self care and “me time” before the snow storm and my virtual training that I’ll be facilitating all weekend.

The owner took a liking to me and gave me a tour of all the new decor he purchased in New Delhi on his last trip. Soaked up India before transmitting the teachings. 🙏📿
