I’m excited to introduce Bloom Sensory Studio — a small, thoughtfully curated spring collection of therapist-designed sensory experiences created to support real development at home.

Each sensory bin is designed by a pediatric occupational therapist and intentionally built to strengthen fine motor skills, support sensory exploration, and encourage independent, confidence-building play.

We will be exploring “spooky” but mostly cute sensory play designed to encourage your tiny tot to explore and experiment with different textures and messes without the hassle of cleaning up all the messes! Come bring your little tot and let them be messy- you can hold their hand but I will hold the mop for you!

I am excited to announce I have been accepted as a candidate and will begin the certification process to become an I-ASC provider over the next few months! I am looking for families who have a loved one who is non-speaking, an unreliable speaker or minimally speaking and would like to join me on this journey!

‘Apraxia is the main reason that many nonspeakers can’t speak reliably or at all. It is the most common reason nonspeakers in our community have difficulty initiating their intended actions or maintaining momentum to follow through to completion. Nonspeakers often appear not to understand words or instructions because apraxia gets in the way. Apraxia and sensory processing, and stimuli reactions often leave nonspeakers in our community very misunderstood.’

Pen pals is kicking off this week! We will be putting the fun in fun-ctional, as we work on refining handwriting and life skills! Recommended age is 7+

* your child will make 3-4 cards
* use writing prompts (as needed) to draft short messages to 3-4 pen pals.
* learn how to address envelopes
* practice handwriting skills
*build confidence with writing
