Meet Jordan Carbine, one of our newest interns here at Project Hope. He is two months into his six month internship and already showing a steady heart to serve and grow in what God is doing in his life.

We asked him a few fun and meaningful questions so you can get to know him a little better:

One Bible story that really stands out to him is John 4, the woman at the well, a reminder that Jesus meets us right where we are. If he had a weekend off, you would find him at a revival, hungry for more of God. Something people may not know is that he takes pride in his cooking and his skills as a musician.

The best gift he has ever received is simple and powerful. Salvation.

For a fun one, Jordan said if he were a kitchen appliance he would be a knife, because just like us, it needs to be continually sharpened to stay useful, and the strangest thing he has ever eaten is haggis.

Right now, one of the best ways we can support him is simply by reminding him that he is loved.

Jordan, we are grateful for the work God is doing in your life. Thank you for saying yes to the process and for serving with humility and consistency. We are excited to see what these next four months hold.

Two months. 60 days of choosing a different path.

Greg’s story isn’t just about time. It’s about surrender, growth, and learning how to live again one day at a time. What you see in this video is real. The honesty, the struggle, the change. It didn’t happen overnight, but it is happening.

Every day he shows up, he’s proving that transformation is possible. Not just for himself, but for every man watching who wonders if they can do it too.

This is what it looks like when someone stops running and starts rebuilding.

My name is Joel and this is part of my story.

I grew up carrying anxiety, anger, and brokenness. As I got older, it turned into rebellion. I looked for acceptance in the wrong places and fell into a dark season of depression that followed me into adulthood.

Nothing seemed to work. I reached a point where I had nothing left.

Then I came to Project Hope, and everything started to change. The Lord met me there and I experienced real freedom through surrender.

But after graduating and stepping into an internship, I drifted. I stopped being honest and tried to handle things on my own. It did not take long for God to show me I had stepped away from what He called me to do.

He brought me back.

Today, I am walking through restoration at Project Hope and it has changed my life. I am learning to trust God daily and follow His lead.
I am thankful for His grace. I am thankful for another chance.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

Huge thank you to the community of Crestview for showing up and showing love at our car wash at Lifepoint Church

Every car that rolled through wasn’t just a donation, it was an opportunity. An opportunity for these men to step up, work hard, and take part in something bigger than themselves. There’s something powerful about not just receiving help, but being able to earn it and to turn around and support the brothers walking this same road beside you.

What you did goes beyond financial support. You gave dignity, purpose, and a reminder that this journey isn’t walked alone.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace…” - 1 Peter 4:10

That’s exactly what happened. Gifts were given, hands got to work, and lives are continuing to be changed.

Big thanks to Emerald Coast Church for letting us share our “Reality Is” testimonies and for blessing our ministry with contributions. And yes… pizza and drinks didn’t hurt either!

Job 11:16 says, “You will forget your misery; it will be like water flowing away.” Just like that, your generosity washed over us and reminded us we’re not in this alone.

65 days ago I made a decision that changed everything.

Today I’m standing here clear minded and full of gratitude.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has poured into my life. The ones who prayed for me and believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. You didn’t give up on me and that means more than I can put into words.

Because of your support, I’m not the same man I was 65 days ago. God has been working in me, restoring me, and giving me a new way to live.

This is just the beginning.

What a powerful testimony of redemption and perseverance!

Colten came to Project Hope Recovery Center at a time when driving, and even the thought of owning a car, felt out of reach. But he didn’t just complete the program; he committed to the process, stayed to serve others, and kept pushing forward.

After years without a license, Colten did the hard work to get it restored. And yesterday, he bought a car!!

This is what transformation looks like. Not just freedom from the past, but stepping fully into a new future.
