Staying hydrated is as important as eating fruits, veggies and protein every day. Water supports every system in the body — from regulating temperature to aiding digestion.
Aim for about 15.5 cups of fluids a day for men and 11.5 cups for women — most from water. Avoid sugary drinks, such as soda or energy drinks, and opt for water, tea, milk, or coffee instead.
