🎉 Honoring Barbara Crowson 🎉
On July 15th, the Houston County Hospital District proudly recognized Barbara Crowson for her outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to improving healthcare in our community.
Barbara began serving on the Board in 2007 and led as Board President from 2019–2025. Her legacy includes playing a key role in the reopening of Crockett Medical Center, restoring vital healthcare access for Houston County against all odds.
She continues to serve as a trusted voice on the Board and also represents our community on the MidCoast Health System Board, where her leadership helps shape the future of rural healthcare.
