Sometimes the universe wraps love in the softest, most unexpected package. 🐒🧸 This tiny baby monkey, born into loneliness, clings to a simple stuffed toy like it’s the only heartbeat in the world. No mother’s arms, no warm fur against fur—just fuzzy fabric and quiet comfort. And yet, look at those little hands gripping so tightly. In that grip is survival. In that grip is hope.
We spend our lives chasing big love—grand declarations, perfect families, dramatic rescues. But real healing often arrives in silence: a plush bear, a worn blanket, a stranger’s kind word. This little one teaches us that connection doesn’t need to be flawless to be life-saving. It just needs to be there.
It’s okay if your comfort today is small. A playlist on repeat, a warm drink, a pet’s head on your lap, or even just holding your own hand. You’re not weak for needing it—you’re alive because of it.
To every soul feeling alone right now: you deserve softness too. You deserve something to hold when the night feels too heavy. And if no one else says it tonight… I’m holding space for you. 🥺💛

chance to be counted

allow us to be swept
up in your smile

So, a little-big thing happened yesterday😌…

Honored to have been appointed by Governor Wes Moore to serve on the Maryland State Acupuncture Board. I accepted my commission yesterday and took an oath to continue to serve with integrity and character.

Service is everything, and having a seat at the table to help initiate change for inclusive, equitable and accessible compassionate whole-person healthcare is also paramount.

Thanks to the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Annapolis for yesterday’s official ceremony.
