I always tell patients to see the silver lining in their situation. I share this because Julianna has really realized and experienced true friends stepping up to help her, her own inner strength, and her ability to adapt and overcome. Sitting here waiting for the orthopedist, I was teaching her how everything is connected from her neck, to her shoulder blade, to her collarbone, to her arm, and so on. Julianna then describes how our earth is connected. Her positive energy really shines. Remember to always remain positive, put your best foot forward, and trust the process.

Sometimes the injuries hit close to home. Julianna was playing very very good today in her winter league game and displaying her footwork... then in the blink of an eye... a broken collarbone. This Little Lady is as tough as they get! No tears, not one cry, just a small grimace. Soon enough I will rehab my favorite patient.
