She Trained at the University of Minnesota, Duluth Medical School. The clinic provides rural primary care as a private practice with multiple service lines. Mission:

- No-Scalpel Vasectomies
- Colonoscopies
- EGD's
- Lab draws
- Coumadin (Warfarin) Monitoring

Additionally, Telemental Health Services are provided through the Center for Rural Mental Health Studies in Duluth. For more information about mental health services provided via computer video chat, please contact the office.

It's already fall, but it's not too early to start thinking about how to optimize your health and implement healthy habits prior to winter! Exercise, socialization, and a healthy diet are integral to brain health, so it’s important to plan ahead for when we will be indoors more and experience more hours of darkness. Here are three simple steps to follow that will help you stay healthy this winter!❄️
📆First and foremost, make sure you are up to date on all of your preventative healthcare including your physical or Medicare Wellness exam!
🏋️‍♀️Second, make and implement a plan for indoor exercise for at least 150 minutes a week, and include 2 days a week of strength training. This maintains & improves your bone health, as well as boosts your metabolism by increasing muscle mass & decreasing fat mass.
🥕Lastly, seek out sources of whole foods, ideally organic. Root vegetables are a great source of antioxidants throughout the darker months of the year! Consider local Food CSA’s, markets with organic bulk dry goods, and farmers who sell whole animals for butchering and freezing.
Preparing to treat your body and mind well during the winter months will lead to optimized health in the spring and can stave off mental health struggles. Remember optimal health doesn’t just happen - it's achieved by being mindful in your self-care!
