A program I am happy to have available right here in Crosby! My daughter is excited for her 2nd year with BIO Girls.

This program is for girls 2nd-6th grade. It begins January 26th & runs for 12 weeks. They also have scholarships available.

But what does a BIO Girls session actually look like? Each program meets weekly for 12 weeks for a 90 minute session. Starting with faith-based devotions, we then dive into a large-group lesson.

Topics range from coping with anxiety, to building healthy friendships, to goal setting, to positive body image and so much more. From there, we break out into small groups where our mentors and participants discuss our lessons in more depth. Finally, we close out the session focusing on our goal-setting activity.

It is amazing to me that it has already been 2 years since I opened Playful Pathways Therapy! Thank you for all of your support over these last couple of years! I look forward to seeing what year 3 brings.

As a reminder, I will be closed December 24th-26th for Christmas and January 1st for New Years Day. I do have openings on Friday, January 3rd for reschedules.

Tomorrow is an E-Learning day for Crosby schools due to icy roads. With that said, I am planning to stay open. If the roads are dangerous, please contact me to reschedule your appointment.

This goes for all of winter. I will stay open as often as possible during closings but please reschedule if travel is dangerous. I will also contact families and post on here if my closure is necessary. Thank you.

I am currently working on creating a variety of blog posts focusing on sensory systems, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, etc. These posts will include items that would make great gift ideas for this holiday season! First up, the proprioceptive system.

Proprioception helps us perceive our body's movements position in space. This is one of my favorites of the sensory systems because it is so impactful on daily activities.
