We're recognizing our wonderful library media specialists and the work they do to support our students and schools! They meet regularly with classes to teach students about research skills and using library materials and to guide students in selecting materials for classroom assignments and personal use.

Our first All School Walk of the Spring was today. We had 163 family members join us to start our day with movement and fellowship.

The Cross Plains Optimist Club is looking forward to hosting our Annual Tri-Str Basketball Contest! Getting young people involved in sports and community activities is a great way for kids to build self-esteem, meet new friends and develop new skills. On Tuesday April 7th from 6:00pm-7:30pm we will be at St Francis Xavier Gym. The top 2 scorers in each age and gender group will be recognized. First place finishers will be given the opportunity to participate in the WI SWIS District contest on Saturday April 25th in Sun Prairie. Thank you Cross Plains Optimist Club

At our March General meeting the Club made a donation to Park Elementary School to help them purchase books for their library to help teachers, students and other staff to teach "A Cardinal's Journey". This program was implemented this year as a tool for Future-Preparedness Framework. Principal Brett Humphrey was on hand to receive the check from Optimist President Dennis Semrau.

This tradition gives our District the opportunity to honor the dedication and commitment of our incredible teachers and staff and celebrate the milestones they’ve reached along the way. Their work makes a meaningful difference for our students, schools, and community.
