It's been 1 year to the day that we hung out our first "Be Kind" sign...now 1 year later and more than 1,000 signs later (according to Doris) we would just like to say thank you to everyone who participated in spreading kindness throughout Cross Plains and beyond...Nice job everyone!
We will continue to supply signs for as long as you like...

A BIG shout out to Mary Douglas for the head's up on the free wood on Cross Street and an equally grateful nod to Charlie Klein for making his kid's old play set available to live on in future 'Be Kind' signs. What a cool way to recycle!

They're back!...
Doris is recovering well and through her kindness has made Cross Plains the recipients of one of her first batches of signs. Hey all you campers out there....got a sign for your site? How about one to share with a fellow camper at your favorite destination...?

For those of you looking for more of the 'Be Kind' signs, there will be a temporary lull in our supply as Doris recovers from carpal tunnel surgery she underwent late last week. In the meantime, "Be Kind" and feel free to send her a note wishing her a speedy recovery and thanking her for all of the kindness she's brought to our community. (For those of you who already have signs, you have her email address from the note on the back of the sign.)
There is also a box on the bench outside Salon Fido where you can drop off cards or donations for supplies if you'd like. I will make sure they make their way to Doris...

I see so many people walking these days and I myself took an early morning walk the other day. It was a dewy morning and an muted sunrise...I made an extra effort to look around as I walked...here are some of the things I noticed...enjoy
